I decided to start using my story back in 2015 but over the last few years the craziness of life took over and I stopped blogging. However, it’s a passion I have wanted to get back to since the day I stopped and today I am re-starting the journey! I hope the content will help you in some way and I pray my story will continue to impact all those who find themselves in a hopeless situation.

THIRD TRIMESTER. Today I enter into the last trimester which is completely insane and means seriously not a lot of weeks left 😳 Amongst all the chaos going on in my life and family right now, the death of a loved one, another one needing brain surgery and another one in and out of hospital due to mental health… I’m unbelievably thankful that this little boy is healthy, growing and kicking non-stop! As you can see my bump is gigantic 😉 but for real though - it has seriously grown and it’s feeling VERY heavy! Here’s to the last few months. If life could calm down for a minute that would be great! 😘🤍 Unfortunately my England trip had to be cut short and I’m at the airport on the next flight home. My beautiful father-in-law passed away last night. I tried to get home in time but it all happened too quickly. So thankful we got to say goodbye to each other through FaceTime but my heart hurts so much not having been able to give him one last hug 💔 England was so special and I feel a little broken leaving early. Not ready to not see my family again until this baby is here. It will NEVER get easier having all my people thousands of miles apart. If you pray, please pray for my family. It’s been a very tough week. Amongst the celebrations of a new life coming, we lost one very dear to us. It hurts knowing Karl won’t get to meet our beautiful boy. But I know Jesus welcomed him with open arms and his body is finally at peace 🤍💔 Best day with the British besties who threw me a surprise baby shower! Just missing Badge Badge! So thankful for this group and the almost 19 years of friendship with each of them!! Into the Unknown… 6 MONTHS DOWN! 3 TO GO! Shopping date with my man to celebrate the milestone of getting this far in one piece! 😁🤩 Baby Braley is kicking every second I don’t move, which isn’t a ton of seconds but still a lot! 😂 Pregnancy has been harder than I EVER thought it would be. I started having contractions just over 3 weeks ago, which isn’t ideal and basically means I need to chill more and have less stress in my life! Again, a little challenging with my personality and the job I have. BUT - it’s a work in progress and baby boy is super healthy and growing rapidly! So all in all it’s going decent. Let’s see what these next 3 months have in store - biggest goal is to keep this baby in for as long as possible!!! 😁 Yesterday I went to my first ever silent spiritual retreat. For me, not an easy thing to do! Sit in silence, sit STILL, reflect, just BE. 30 mins in I hit my wall. Agitation kicked in, frustration took over and I wanted to walk out. I made myself stay. “Chi, it’s Easter. For once just try and be Holy!” I went back to the passage we were meditating on. Matthew 27. I started writing verses that stood out to me. Judas was filled with remorse. Judas betrayed him for 30 silver coins. Judas hung himself. 30 silver coins. $260 in today’s day and age. 4 months wages back then. Judas, one of Jesus’ closest guys, betrayed Him for just 30 silver coins. That was the value Judas put on Jesus’ life. The value the rulers, the governors and the people of Israel put on Jesus’ life. The moment the decision was made Judas regretted it. Threw the money away. He was filled with THAT much regret he killed himself. I’ve read it a thousand times. Yet for the first time it feels personal. How much value do I put on Jesus’ life? It should be everything, but is it? If I value Him with everything then NOTHING should come before Him. My time, finances, belongings, relationships. None of it should be more important. And yet so often they are more important. Am I living like Jesus is only worth 30 silver coins? He was crucified for ME. He died for ME. Sacrificed Himself for ME. Without Him I am nothing and my life is worth nothing. And yet I’m struggling to give Him a few hours of my time because I have too much to do and life is too busy, I can’t help but think “Am I any different?” Or have I placed the value of Jesus’ life and what He’s done for me at 30 silver coins. Judas killed himself. The remorse was so great. The regret unbearable. Let us not stand before Jesus one day like Judas. Let us not live our lives placing just a 30 silver coin value on the greatest sacrifice that’s ever made been made. I’ve been reminded of what’s most important. Reminded of why I’m even here. So today I wish you all a ‘Happy Easter’ with a greater sense of understanding and a deeper value of gratitude. And I encourage you all to live your life that places Jesus at a higher value than just 30 silver coins 🤍 Most surreal moment and so unbelievably unexpected!!!! IT’S A BOY!!!!!!!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 Thank you to everyone who came, all those who have supported us for all these years and for Jake and Britt for organizing the most special gender reveal party!!! We feel unbelievably blessed and OVER THE MOON happy!!!!! TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!!! Just a few more hours till we find out!!!!! These two are either convinced or trying to speak it into existence 🤣🤣 BOY OR GIRL!!!!!! The answer is literally in this envelope and I don’t get to find out for another 4 days!!!! 🙈 Gender reveal is THIS Saturday!
